Hope everyone had a nice Christmas =)
I had quite a nice one myself, it was pretty awesome just kicking back and relaxing without having to worry about college things haha. I finally told my dad that I have to retake my math class. I was really scared to tell him, because it means I have to take night classes. He doesn't like it for some reason, long story. But yeah I told him and he didn't mind at all. He was glad that there was that freshman retake thing and my dorm will be closer to my classes now so it'll be okay. Whew.
I got some nice books for Christmas! I got the new revised edition of Battle Royale and Dear John. I finally finished re reading White Oleander so I've started on Dear John since it's quite a tiny book. Battle Royale is like 600 some pages, so I might have to save that for the summer. Reading won't get done very much when I go back to college, at least the fun kind of reading. Oh and I also got 50 dollars for Barnes and Noble, so I'm going to need some book suggestions =D
As for writing, I went back to my old computer and pulled out some really old stuff that I was working on. I found this really nice story that I had started about Leon and Ada from Resident Evil 4 and I really would like to finish it. It's a one shot so it won't take too long. And I also found another one shot that I was writing about Resistance, the first game! Quite old haha. I really would like to finish that one too. And of course my Tenchu story, I gotta get working on that too...it's not quite anywhere near being done =( And I feel bad that I've made all my readers wait this long...

Oh dear.
I am incredibly sorry for not blogging in more than 3 months! If anyone actually reads this =P
But yes, college has kept me extremely busy no doubt, and now that it is winter break, I have time to sit down and enjoy time for myself! I thought I'd update, although it's quite doubtful that anyone really reads this. Perhaps a few fanfiction readers led here through my fanfiction.net profile?
A lot has been going on lately, and I must say that I am proud to have survived the first semester at college! I walked away with 2 A's, 2 B's and one D...the worst grade that I have gotten since 3rd grade. It was in Calculus. I really suck at much, and that's an understatement, but I didn't think I did that bad on the final exam. Which is why the grade came as a huge shock to me...and because I was hoping and expecting for way too much. I thought I could get away with a C in the class, maybe even a B...but when I looked and saw the D glaring at me it hurt probably as much as if someone hit me in the gut with a metal pole.
The one thing that i have learned quite well in this 2009 year is to never ever expect. It sets you up for disappointments and makes things hurt more than they should. Not only when it comes to academics, but everything. I've been caught up in this little situation with a guy as well, and the whole "expect" thing got me in trouble several times. But that is quite the story, and not one that I feel like typing out right now, as it would end up being as long as War and Peace =P
As for writing and continuing my stories...we'll see. I'm just happy to be back at home, in my own bed, eating home cooked meals instead of mass produced ones, and showering without the need for flip flops!
Short entry...more later =)

わたしわかさです!
I apologize for my lack of writing. There's hardly any time where I can just sit down and blog! I'm always doing something, either hanging out with people, studying, or sleeping haha.
This week was pretty awesome. Two Fridays ago, I took my first college tests, a psych test and a math test (i was pretty sure I bombed it) and on Tuesday I had to turn in an english paper that I kept putting off until the very last minute. I got them back this week and I was just dancing from happiness. I got an 85 on psych (I could've done better if I had kept up with the reading more) and an 82 on math! And I got a B- on the paper!
The 82 in math was the biggest surprise...I've never been much of a math person and I was confident that I started making up my own kind of math on some of the problems. The girl who I studied with and who kept correcting me every time I did something wrong on the homework didn't do very well...I felt pretty bad so I just held in my excitement. I was totally not expecting that. As for the B- in english, I wasn't expecting that either! The main problem about it was it was descriptive but not analytical. Considering the fact that I write fiction, it makes sense. And I was kinda mad that he didn't like my super creative title! Everyone else liked it! It was titled "The Insanity Defense: Crazy or not here they come!" Perhaps it was a bit too insensitive? I didn't really mean for it to be crass, I just thought it was an interesting and creative title. Oh well.
So I'm home now and wishing that the weather was nicer. It's been all doom and gloom for awhile now and I think it's gonna stay like that for the whole weekend :(
I'm still really loving the social aspect of college. I've been spending less and less time in my dorm room and more and more time out at other people's apartments and stuff. I quite dislike my dorm and suitemates. The room mate can be okay sometimes but I dunno I'm starting to get irritated at the little things she does. I guess that's just me though, I tend to get irritated very easily. She just seems so unhappy all the time! And I'm big on laughter, she barely laughs at anything. I thought we had quite a bit in common but after almost a month with her I am starting to disagree. If i'm out and about hanging out with people she'll text me and say "You're so popular I never see you anymore!" and I'm just like "So what? What does it matter to you? I'm sorry that I hang out with a variety of people and you just hang out with your boyfriend and like 3 other people..." Don't get me wrong though, she's a way better room mate than some of my suitemates but still. When she slept over with her boyfriend I was so happy that I had the room to myself. It was great haha. I'm secretly wishing that she does that more often.
Okay well that's enough for now lol. I've got japanese homework (gotta study my recitation, which is pretty much like a little play that you have to act out in japanese) and some math that I have to review.
さようなら!

Back again...
I am back to my university after a very lovely weekend lol. I'm so glad that there's no school today, this will make the week go by very fast! Not only that but I also have 3 tests this week that will keep me busy and help time fly by. I've got a test in japanese on Wednesday, and a test in math on Friday and a test in psych on Friday also. Friday is quickly becoming my least favorite day lol.
I am procrastinating yet again and I am avoiding doing my 3 page draft that is due tomorrow...I've done 2 full pages so I just have one more left. The bad news is that I don't know what to write about! And the final paper is supposed to be 5 pages total! God I hate english. I still have tomorrow morning though since english is at 1:30 and it's my only class.
My weekend was pretty damn good, the only thing was that I had a sore throat and a runny nose. I still have the runny nose and I am taking sudafed so I'm really hoping that the stuff will kick in soon and start working. I can't smell anything and I just barely have my sense of taste but hey, that'll come in handy when I eat at the dining hall haha.
So I pretty much had lots of bonding time with my dad this weekend playing Call of Duty: World at War and Resident Evil 5. God I love resident evil! The fourth one was amazing! And so is the 5th! But it's hard haha, I keep yelling at the screen but I still keep coming back for more! I want to be Sheva for Halloween but I don't think I'll be able to pull it off. I'm Asian so maybe I should do Ada instead? Her costume is just way too hard though. Anyway I'm totally on Resident Evil withdrawal (even though I just played last night for like 3 hours) so what I've been doing instead is watching walkthroughs on youtube. It helps! We played Call of Duty whenever we got frustrated with RE5 since CoD is ridiculously easy in comparison. Chris Redfield has the sexiest arms I have ever seen.
Okay enough of that lol I am going back home this weekend to play haha. We got pretty far in the game but we realized that we missed a lot of opportunities to find treasure, which means we won't get a lot of money which means no cool upgrades for weapons. So after much thought and debate we decided that we would start the damn game over again lol which we did countless times in the beginning because we couldn't figure out how to beat the first boss (I know, shame on us but whatever, my dad hadn't played a game like RE where you can't shoot and run at the same time).
I should end this now so I can actually get some work done.

It's almost Friday!! :D
This week went by so fast, whew! I should probably get to sleep because I have my 8:05 am psychology class (and tomorrow's gonna be a CRAZY busy day) but my room mate is still out and about and I don't want to fall asleep and then have her wake me up. I'm a pretty deep sleeper anyway...but still.
Overall this week went by smoothly! Let's see...today i had dinner with my mom's coworker's daughter! She was soo nice! We have a ton in common, her major is criminology (which i almost wanted to do), she loves CSI, and the funny thing is that she went to the rival school of my high school! We were talking about the crazy spirit week days...ahh those simpler days :P I have to admit though I am still loving college...I just adore the people here.
English is still a bore, I literally almost fell asleep today. I was in the lunch line today getting food and I saw someone in my english class. I asked him if we had homework that was due and he said yes...we had to proofread like 12 sentences and I was like "WHAT?!" haha. It was my fault because I should've checked the website but I definitely forgot. So I bagged my food and then speed walked all the way back to my dorm, which usually takes like 10 to 15 minutes so it's quite a distance! I get to my dorm in record time and print out the stuff we needed to do...the directions said we just had to take it with us to class, I didnt have to do anything else! I ran all the way back to the dorm just to print a damn paper...it turns out that I could have just asked my friend to scan it for me at the library like my other friend Chelsea did but no, I always make things harder than it needs to be. I didn't really get mad at my friend who told me that I had to correct the sentences because he actually thought that we had to...it wasn't as though he was just trying to give me a hard time.
I'm doing amazing in japanese! I love it! Sentence construction can get tricky and I sometimes freeze up when I have to go up in front of the class and say something but it's normal. I've always been shy but I've been doing a good job about meeting and talking to new people. I've gotten all 100s and a 96 on every quiz since the one i got a 60 on. I went to the Japan Club meeting...and oh man there were some weird ass people there. It's really hard to explain without being kinda mean :P I thought our teacher was going to be there but she wasn't...and every single one of the officers were white...not that that's a bad thing but there could have been at least one japanese officer! It was interesting because the opening activity was to make rice balls and the 4 guys that I came in with were so amazed by things like mochi, japanese candy, and seaweed. The rice ball making was interesting to say the least, my friends were laughing at the grounded up sesame seed paste and red bean paste (which is actually pretty good. I didn't try the sesame seed one though). He accidentally put way too much of the sesame seed paste and made the most hilarious face when he smelled it! I don't know if I want to go back to that club though lol.
Psychology is interesting, I love our teacher. He was demonstrating things that the eye does. He made us stare at pictures for awhile and then change to a white screen and then we'd see weird hallucinations as he called it haha. He said that during long boring meetings he likes to do that since "it's cheaper than drugs." haha. I don't even want to talk about math, doing my webassign homework tonight was absolute hell. I must be dyslexic or something because I keep leaving out numbers or adding random ones! I had to do a problem like 5 times because of all the dumb mistakes I kept making! I was about to throw my laptop out the window!
Damn this is a long post...I wanted to write about my fun night out with my guy friends but I'm getting sleepy...maybe tomorrow.
